Overview……..Pattaya is a premier beach resort in Chonburi province in the eastern gulf of Thailand. It ranks along with Bangkok, Phuket and Ko Samui among the most popular tourist destinations in Thailand. The town itself, offering every conceivable amenity for tourists at low cost, is dominated by its nightlife where its reputation derives from its time as a rest and recreation facility for US servicemen in particular, during the Vietnam War. However regardless of its reputation this short tour demonstrates that there is still ample opportunity to venture beyond the beaches for the more adventurous.
