Route 12 Coffee is unsurprisingly located on Route 12 in northern Petchabun Province. The route itself runs east-west originating at Khon Kaen and terminating in Tak. Route 12 Coffee is located on the stretch between Lom Sak and Pitsanulok in northern Khao Kho and on the edge of Thung Salaeng Luang National Park. It is some 30kms from Lom Sak but just about 7kms from the provincial border in a more remote part of Petchabun Province. The coffee shop is much more than a rest stop and has become popular with Thais and foreigners alike due to its climate and general holiday atmosphere. The theme at this stop is mid 20th century USA with a good number of hardware pieces, typical of the times, liberally scattered around the site. The views are pleasant the coffee is great and the souvenir shops most inviting. With a remarkable range of local products available to take back home the establishment is certainly keen to invite you to stay all afternoon and chill out.
