Lan Doo Dao is an attraction near the entrance to Doi Phu Kha National Park deserving of special mention. Translated, Lan Doo Dao means stargazing field. It’s not surprising that at an altitude of over 1,700 metres and away from the glare of city lights the area offers spectacular views of the night sky. The park offers accommodation and a range of natural activities. Unlike early risers who wish to view the talay mog (sea of mist), Lan Doo Dao is a night time activity but staying overnight will provide both. This park is highly recommended for nature lovers.
