Saladan Pier is a busy area for ferries and is part of the main commercial town Saladan (or Sala Dan) for Koh Lanta Yai located on the northern tip of the island. It's a small, authentic harbour town that's filled with quaint cafes and local souvenir shops. Koh Lanta is a relaxing and peaceful destination for tourists looking for space to unwind, but who still want to be close enough to some nightlife.
You'll arrive and depart from Saladan Pier if you're going to nearby islands and also using the passenger ferry. Ban Saladan is the place on Koh Lanta to go shopping and seafood restaurants. Ban Saladan main town is only 2 streets that make up the town, definitely the highlight are the 20 or more wooden seafood restaurants that are built on stilts over the water, with great views of the beach on Koh Lanta Noi.
