Diagnosis..... By morning there is little improvement after my health issue yesterday and I call to cancel the tour; such a pity and a waste. The hospital is quite a way from here but there is a clinic. I decide to get medical advice. On top of the sunstroke I notice a reoccurrence of cellulitis in my right leg. This requires a course of antibiotics. With a diagnosis complete I leave loaded up with medicines and gels, but it's come at a price. These private clinics are expensive. On the other hand if I don't get early treatment I would end up in hospital. Obviously I'm told to avoid activities today and get confined to quarters. Throughout the night and morning I drink substantial amounts of water. I stay in bed until afternoon. There are signs now of things returning to normal. The fever has receded and I'm rehydrated. By late afternoon there is a power cut and the air conditioning is off. I decide to go down to the beachfront at the resort where I write these notes and have an early dinner. Things should be ok now; just waiting for the antibiotics to kick in. Tomorrow around lunchtime I have to head back to the mainland in time for a late afternoon flight to Bangkok.
