Prince of Chumphon Shrine
The Prince of Chumphon Shrine is the most important of many shrines to the highly respected Prince Abhakara Kiartivongse, a son to King Rama V. He is recognised as the father of the modern Royal Thai Navy. Haad Sai Ree is where he recuperated and rehabilitated from his illnesses, before his death on 19 May 1923.
