view. Meanwhile, in Boca Chica! New Raptor SN42 paid a visit to Starship SN8, but wasn't installed. Then SN46(!) turned up in the RaptorVan, sporting a pumpkin! (Fresh from Halloween testing at McGregor?).

view. Raptor SN32 was removed from Starship SN8 on Saturday, following its role in the issues observed after the third Static Fire test. SN9's nosecone is also being prepared ahead of mating operations.

view. Starship SN11 comes out to play with its Common Dome and Forward sections outdoors, with the latter receiving its LOX downcomer. The Production Site is a hive of future Starships activity.

SN8 fired up its engines for the third time, but suffered a loss of pneumatics and was unable to drain the LOX header tank in the nosecone- luckily a burst disk prevented a potentially catastrophic overpressure event. Some liquid that looked like molten metal could be seen dripping from Raptor after firing. Also included, a comparison of all 3 SN8 static fires so far.

view. While Starship SN8 has an eventful night of testing, SN9 is all-but ready to be tagged in - as final processing is conducted in the High Bay. Follow on Starships and nosecones are also deep into preparations.

view. SN8 appeared no worse for the wear after last night's single engine Static Fire, and work continued around the launch site this morning. SN12's thrust section was stacked and work on SN9, SN10 and SN11 continued.

view. SN8 conducted the first ever static fire of a fully stacked Starship, using a single Raptor engine. Debris seen flying is most likely from the pad and not a concern in terms of Raptor performance. Work on SN9 Continued, several loads of equipment were delivered to the gas well lot, and new nosecones with flap installation hardware were spotted inside their fabrication tent.
8th: SpaceX Boca Chica - Super Heavy Booster Stacking Begins - Raptor SN42 Delivered....
view. Today was a historic day for SpaceX in Boca Chica, with the first sections of Super Heavy Booster Number 1 being moved into the High Bay for Stacking. Work on SN8 ahead of its static fire test campaign continued, and Raptor Engine SN42 was delivered.
