22nd: SpaceX Boca Chica - Raptor SN44 Delivered with Thanksgiving Turkey Art....view. New Raptor engine SN44 arrived at SpaceX Boca Chica on Sunday, hitching a ride with two Merlin 1Ds! Another Raptor, likely SN32, took its place on the truck.
21st: SpaceX Boca Chica - Starship SN5 Relocated - SN9 Nosecone Mated....view. Past, present, and future on show at SpaceX Boca Chica, as Starship SN5 was relocated, SN8 prepares for a final Static Fire test, and SN9's nosecone was stacked.
20th: SpaceX Boca Chica - Starship SN13 exists as SN8 readies for the big day....view. With Starship SN8 now receiving a preliminary launch date, the appearance of a labeled CH4 Header Tank finally confirmed there will be a Starship SN13. Previously, no sign of any SN13 hardware had been spotted. Also, SN9's nosecone now has both flaps attached.
19th: SpaceX Boca Chica - Starship SN9 Nosecone Aero Surface Installation....view. A hive of activity at SpaceX Boca Chica, with another milestone taking place at the Windbreak with the nosecone for Starship SN9 now receiving its aero surfaces.
18th: SpaceX Boca Chica - Starship SN15 appears amid SN11 Stacking and Lunar Mock Up outfitting....view. SN15 was introduced to the Starship family on Wednesday, amid a mass of vehicle and nosecone processing flows - and even outfitting of the HLS Lunar Starship mock up.
17th: SpaceX Boca Chica - SN9 Transporter Testing....view. SN9 was tested with the newly assembled extra wide Self Propelled Modular Transporter, work on SN8 continued, and a nosecone barrel section was worked on inside the nosecone fabrication tent.
16th: SpaceX Boca Chica - SN9 Rolled Out of High Bay - Raptor SN42 Installed on Starship SN8....view. Starship SN9 was rolled out of the High Bay and had its legs extended before it was lifted next to some modular transporters. Raptor SN42 was installed on Starship SN8.
15th: SpaceX Boca Chica - Raptor SN42 greets Starship SN8 - Brand new SN46 arrives - Forward Dome Gets LOX Downcomer....view. Meanwhile, in Boca Chica! New Raptor SN42 paid a visit to Starship SN8, but wasn't installed. Then SN46(!) turned up in the RaptorVan, sporting a pumpkin! (Fresh from Halloween testing at McGregor?).
14th: SpaceX Boca Chica - Raptor SN32 removed from Starship SN8 - Forward Dome Gets LOX Downcomer....view. Raptor SN32 was removed from Starship SN8 on Saturday, following its role in the issues observed after the third Static Fire test. SN9's nosecone is also being prepared ahead of mating operations.
13th: SpaceX Boca Chica - Starship SN11 Common Dome Section Stacked - Forward Dome Gets LOX Downcomer....view. Starship SN11 comes out to play with its Common Dome and Forward sections outdoors, with the latter receiving its LOX downcomer. The Production Site is a hive of future Starships activity.
12th: SpaceX Boca Chica - SN8 Static Fire #3 and Pneumatic Anomaly....view. SN8 fired up its engines for the third time, but suffered a loss of pneumatics and was unable to drain the LOX header tank in the nosecone- luckily a burst disk prevented a potentially catastrophic overpressure event. Some liquid that looked like molten metal could be seen dripping from Raptor after firing. Also included, a comparison of all 3 SN8 static fires so far.
--do-- SpaceX Boca Chica - Starship SN9 ready and able to enter the fray....view. While Starship SN8 has an eventful night of testing, SN9 is all-but ready to be tagged in - as final processing is conducted in the High Bay. Follow on Starships and nosecones are also deep into preparations.
