On Sunday, September 3 at 7:05 a.m. ET, Dragon autonomously undocked from the International Space Station and performed a series of departure burns to move away from the space station. After some 17 hours, NASA astronauts Stephen Bowen and Woody Hoburg, UAE astronaut Sultan Alneyadi, and cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev—the four members of NASA's SpaceX Crew-6 mission splashed down off the coast of Florida at 12:17 a.m. on Monday, September 4, concluding their six-month stay in low Earth orbit.

On Sunday, August 27 at 9:16 a.m. ET, SpaceX’s Dragon autonomously docked with the International Space Station. Almost 30 hours earlier at 3:27 a.m. ET, Falcon 9 launched the spacecraft and Crew-7 to orbit from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Crew-7 will conduct new scientific research to prepare for human exploration beyond low Earth orbit and benefit humanity on Earth. Experiments will include the collection of microbial samples from the exterior of the space station, the first study of human response to different spaceflight durations, and an investigation of the physiological aspects of astronauts' sleep. These are just a few of the more than 200 science experiments and technology demonstrations that will take place during their mission.

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket Saturday from Kennedy Space Center with a four-man crew heading for a six-month stay on the International Space Station. NASA’s Crew-7 mission took off from pad 39A at the Florida spaceport and arced northeast to line up with the space station’s orbit. Liftoff occurred at 3:49 a.m. EDT (0749 UTC). 31 May	Gulf of Mexico	Axiom Space	Private astronauts splash down to close out 9-day commercial research mission: Splashdown: ....view.	12 hours after undocking from the space station and 34 minutes after the deorbit burn, the Crew Dragon’s four main parachutes unfurled, lowering the ship to a gentle splashdown at 11:04 p.m., south of Panama City in the Gulf of Mexico.

Docking of SpaceX’s Dragon Freedom spacecraft at the space station’s Harmony module occurred at 9:12 a.m. EDT (1312 UTC), completing an automated rendezvous that saw the capsule match orbits with the complex with a sequence of thruster firings after launching Sunday from Florida’s Space Coast.

Former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson, with more time in space than any other American, rocketed back into orbit for the fourth time Sunday, riding a SpaceX Falcon 9 launcher with a fare-paying investor and private pilot, and the first two Saudi Arabian astronauts to fly to the International Space Station. SpaceX launched the four astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard its Crew Dragon vehicle. With all four crew members being tourists, the Axiom Space Mission 2 (Ax-2) mission marks the second fully private mission to the ISS, following only the Axiom Space Mission 1, launched in April of 2022. The crew launched from Launch Complex 39A, at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, in Florida. This mission will mark the first return to launch site landing of a crewed mission. On Saturday, March 11 at 2:20 a.m. ET, Dragon autonomously undocked from the International Space Station (ISS). After performing a series of departure burns to move away from the space station, Dragon conducted multiple orbit-lowering maneuvers and jettisoned the trunk in preparation to re-enter Earth’s atmosphere. After 157 days in space, Dragon and Crew-5 NASA astronauts Nicole Mann and Josh Cassada, JAXA astronaut Koichi Wakata, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Anna Kikina returned to Earth and splashed down off the coast of Florida at 9:02 p.m.
