In the middle of the staircase, bodies of the nagas support the orgination hall. In the middle is seated four hugh Buddhas of Maravijaya (Subduing Mara) facing each direction. The images are on an elevated base with the backs leaning against each other so a person entering the hall will face one of the images. The temples unique mural paintings are of four themes - Jataka (story of Lord Buddha), folk stories and the way of life of Nan people.
